I can't say much about this small and large animal clinic; I just hope and wish for many positive reviews. But I would like to thank you, veterinarian Slaven S. from Bosnia. He is a very good and experienced small animal veterinarian. I wish you all the best!
Our Leo and we have been very happy with the Seidensticker veterinary practice for 8 years. From the receptionists to the vets and the veterinary assistants, everyone is always courteous and friendly. Even with short-notice appointments, everyone is helpful. Great praise to the whole team, keep up the good work! 👍👌
Unfortunately, I can only give two stars out of fairness. Until recently, I was very satisfied with the vet, both in terms of price and expertise, but that changed abruptly. The reason was that my dog was badly bitten by another dog and had two deep, open wounds. I went as usual, hoping the vet could help me. Then a man, of southern European appearance, who looked like an orderly, appeared and began treating the wound. I had a hard time holding my dog down because she was screaming in pain, and she wasn't given any pain medication or anything like that. After his rather rough treatment, once he had cleaned the wound, my dog finally received an injection at my request. The wound wasn't bandaged or anything else. He said it wasn't necessary to staple it, etc., but that due to the depth of the injury, it would have been necessary. The treatment took about 15 minutes. After that, things got really strange. He typed the costs into the computer with great satisfaction. For barely 15 minutes of wound cleaning, an injection, and two medications for home use, it cost me €189.00, which left me utterly bewildered and furious. I asked if he was completely out of his mind, especially since I was charged an examination fee twice, which he claimed was normal. We've tried everything for 10 days now: cleaning the wound, resting it, and bandaging it. The wounds still aren't healing; they keep reopening due to the depth of the injury. Luckily, I can soon go to a more competent practice so my dog can be stapled and properly treated. I'm sorry to write this, but this attendant, who turned out to be a veterinarian, should really change jobs. I will be demanding payment of the follow-up treatment costs due to gross negligence. If this completely incompetent veterinarian doesn't comply, I will contact my lawyer. If something had happened to my dog in the meantime (e.g., the wound became infected, leading to blood poisoning), I would have sued this incompetent doctor. When I was outside, another patient came in with her dog and said that you can go broke here. She had also been to the same doctor for about 10 minutes because she was very worried about her dog. Her dog was diagnosed with a false pregnancy, and for that short time, they charged over €100. This practice is becoming nothing more than a complete rip-off. Otherwise, everyone there is very nice and friendly.
I can only sing the praises of Dr. Seidenstricker's practice. The entire team, from receptionists and veterinary assistants to the entire veterinary team, is very courteous, professional, and friendly. Thank you so much for your kind support with my dog Tyson. I highly recommend this team.
