This vet is the best!!! He's incredibly competent, very empathetic, very kind, and takes his time! He's genuinely interested in the animal's well-being! I highly recommend him. He helped us so much, and I'll never forget it!
The best vet! We took in a rather neglected guinea pig and immediately took him to Dr. Burtscher. He spent over an hour with the little rascal and did everything possible to ensure the little guy got the help he deserved. Dr. Burtscher is warm, empathetic, and never loses his composure. Every animal brought to Dr. Burtscher is lucky. I highly recommend Dr. Burtscher and hope he continues to practice for many years to come!
Friendly and competent. I found a little sparrow and took it to the vet, and although the little bird didn't survive the visit, I was more than satisfied with Dr. Burtscher. The practice is in his own house, parking is limited, and the waiting room is simple. But he's the only vet open so late in the evening (7:00 - 8:00 pm). Making an appointment is recommended; I didn't have one, but he still saw me.
I went to two other vets...time passed, and unfortunately, so did the illness. Dr. Burtscher reacted immediately; the first treatment wasn't easy for me or my dog...it came as such a surprise. Dr. Burtscher's calm demeanor and explanations of the treatment completely convinced me. Now my dog is on the road to recovery...thank you so much!
