A very empathetic and competent veterinarian whom we have been happily visiting with our dogs for years. He takes ample time, examines and advises thoroughly, and answers questions in detail!

A very good veterinary practice has always treated our dogs excellently, even when they are no longer able to, he comes to the animal and euthanizes them in their familiar surroundings. Dr. Specker and his wife are a fantastic team! Dr. Specker and his wife, who assists him in the practice, are incredibly friendly, flexible, and always ready to help. With prior arrangement, even a same-day visit without an appointment is possible. He has a big heart, not only for animals but also for people. The prices are fair, and payment can be made in cash or by card. I especially appreciate his honest advice: Dr. Specker is happy to look for more affordable alternatives and doesn't sell anything expensive unless absolutely necessary. My cats and I feel very well cared for and always enjoy coming back. Thank you so much! 😊 Update from November 9, 2025: Since our move to Essen-Altendorf on February 28, 2025, we have remained loyal patients. Once, he made a mistake with the price of a product, and his wife called me immediately to clarify. Dr. Specker even came to Altendorf himself on his motorcycle to deliver the correct product! We are so happy with Mr. Specker; he saved our dog from certain death. Our dog had a very close call. Dr. Specker, I can only hope you will be with us for a long time to come. 🤗
