Dr. Arndts and Ms. Stollenwerk are incredibly empathetic, animal-friendly, and truly dedicated. The animals are treated with love and care, and their owners are always listened to and given sound advice. We feel our galahs are in very good hands.

Dr. Arndts and his veterinary assistant are, as always, very friendly and calm. The animal's needs are noted as soon as you call to schedule an appointment. This means the doctor is well prepared for the appointment. Thanks to their calm demeanor, our cat is very relaxed. Even the car ride is meowing 👌😻👏🫶

This veterinarian is so negligent and incompetent, it's appalling in retrospect. About the vet: Ignorant, overpriced, and yet very self-assured. Absolutely not recommended if your dog is actually ill. Our story: Last September, I took my dog Basti to Dr. Arndts. Basti had lost a lot of weight quickly and had diarrhea for a week. He was a 12-year-old Cocker Spaniel. It was Basti's first visit to Dr. Arndts for an examination, as we had only recently moved to the Eifel region. His diagnosis was quite simple and straightforward: "It's worms that are taking away Basti's appetite." I had last dewormed Basti four months prior, so his diagnosis didn't seem implausible... We were, of course, relieved by the diagnosis. We contacted Dr. Arndts recommended a special food that I could buy from him, sold me nutritional vitamins, and other medications (medication for arthritis, medication for diarrhea, deworming tablets, and anti-nausea tablets). He said Basti should be healthy and happy again within a month. If not, I should come back. In any case, we were out almost 100 euros in 15 minutes, without even buying the dry food from him... Overall, a disastrous misdiagnosis that wasted a lot of time. A week later, Basti barely had the strength to go downstairs on his own. So we decided to consult another vet, who, as soon as he saw Basti and after a quick examination, said he should be taken to a clinic immediately. As said, we did. We left right away. The ultrasound revealed that Basti's kidneys were severely inflamed and that he absolutely had to be admitted to the clinic as an emergency patient. He stayed there for two days and two nights. Then we received a call, and the vets said that after the kidney flush, he had a much better appetite and his kidney values had dropped significantly. He could be treated as an outpatient. We immediately arranged this outpatient follow-up care with our previous vet (Dr. Rizzgala). He would receive an IV drip and be examined for an hour every day. So we brought Basti home. How happy he was to be home again... And we couldn't believe our luck! Hope was restored. But things turned out very differently. The next morning, at 5:30 a.m., Basti died with his head resting in my hands. It was September 26, 2014, the saddest day of my life.

The animal is the absolute focus, with the sensitivities of the "pet parents" also receiving great consideration. Our dogs and we are fortunate to have this doctor and his team nearby.
