Reviews
I had to make an appointment urgently because of my cats' vaccinations reboot. She organized the appointment very quickly. Dr. G. Schwarz welcomed me and my cats very kindly and warmly. Everything was smooth and efficient. I highly recommend here.
A very kind and competent veterinarian who really takes her time. Medication is only administered when absolutely necessary. The same applies to surgeries, only when absolutely required. Dr. Schwarz handles the animals with great care. The prices are more than fair. If no one answers the phone, don't worry, Dr. Schwarz always calls back as soon as she has time. I have had only positive experiences with my two cats so far.
I went there once; I needed an emergency appointment and got one. I only had my card with me for payment, and she even allowed me to come back later or pay by bank transfer. Dr. Schwarz is a super nice and good doctor. Furthermore, I don't understand the negative star ratings for cleanliness in the comments here. I don't care about hygiene or order there; the most important thing is that the doctor is good and nice!
I take my two cats to Dr. Schwarz and I'm very satisfied. She takes her time and gives expert advice. Her love for animals is evident, and appointments are readily available. She also provides thorough advice on wildlife issues (hedgehogs and birds in the countryside). I'm completely satisfied!
Last year, I took my dog to her because she was very ill. Since her origins were unclear, she didn't know what to do. We found the dog in a parking lot. No blood was drawn for testing until I insisted. When hardly any blood came out, nothing further was done. She had severe anemia, which ultimately led to sepsis. I understand, of course, that you don't immediately administer every possible medication, but in this case, it wasn't a good idea. All the treatments came too late, and many illnesses went undetected: a fungal skin infection, the anemia, the cause of the swollen joints, and severe inflammation in her hind leg. Only at the veterinary clinic, when her condition had worsened considerably, were all possible treatments initiated, but it was too late. I simply trusted her. She's a good vet for "normal" pets, but for more complex cases, well, not so much. I would have liked a clear answer. Unfortunately, I won't be going back to this practice. Furthermore, I received hardly any advice on how to handle or care for the sick animal. It was only given after I asked. The prices may have been fair, but unfortunately it didn't help.
