He cut my dog's back paws, which have black claws, so badly they bled. He said that with black claws, it's like playing Russian roulette. I stopped him; my dog was still bleeding long after we got home. This never happened to my vet in Karlsruhe; she was very careful. I'm sure I'll always have trouble getting my dog's claws trimmed now.
Just a country vet. Always reachable, affordable, and caring. I don't know what some people have against him. I happily take my animals to him. He's not pretentious at all, which I personally appreciate.
We visited Dr. Haag's emergency veterinary clinic today and can highly recommend him. It was Sunday night at 10:30 pm, and even at that hour, the phone call was answered very kindly and helpfully, and we were invited in for an appointment. Dr. Haag treated our dog with great care and affection. The clinic is nice and clean. We highly recommend him because of our spontaneous visit, as this kind of service at that hour is not something to be taken for granted; most vets would have referred us to a hospital. This kind of dedication is no longer a given these days, and therefore deserves high praise! Thank you so much, Dr. Haag!
My cat was spayed and vaccinated today. Immediately after the surgery, the vet pressured me and called three times to ask where I was because he had to leave urgently. He didn't even explain things properly. Our cat was supposed to be back on her feet after four hours, and the effects of the anesthesia were supposed to wear off. My cat was almost suffocating; if I hadn't reacted, she would have died. We rushed her to an emergency vet. She has hypothermia and could die. One star is even too generous for such an unqualified vet.
I'm very disappointed. My cats were neutered today, and even though they're still under anesthesia, I was told I could take them home. I find that irresponsible and completely unprofessional. Longer monitoring was absolutely necessary. I cannot recommend this practice.
