No vet in all of Carinthia was willing to treat my dog, who had an injury to his muzzle. Except for Dr. Pasterk, who, without hesitation and even though he wasn't on call, helped Kingston. I am grateful and consider him the absolute best vet you can find in Carinthia... because he is solely concerned with the well-being of the animals, even on Sunday evenings. 👍👍👍👍❤️
Incompetent veterinarian when it comes to small animals. I took him to one of my two rabbits because it had injured its paw (torn claw). He said no treatment was necessary and that the claws simply needed trimming. Accordingly, he also trimmed the claws of my second rabbit. On the first paw, he cut too deeply, causing it to bleed profusely. The same thing happened with the second claw. The bleeding wouldn't stop, so he wrapped it with tape. However, the tape was applied so sloppily and over such a large area that removing it was a nightmare and took over an hour. This caused extreme, unnecessary stress and further injuries. I drove to him with one injured animal and left with two. The vet has absolutely no empathy and treats small animals extremely roughly! Absolutely not recommended, I would give him zero stars!
I took my dog to him last year for an emergency. After the x-ray, he said my dog had swallowed a foreign object and needed surgery. It turned out it wasn't a foreign object at all, but a kidney. A completely pointless and undoubtedly painful operation that only prolonged the poor animal's suffering. Afterward, we went directly to another vet who diagnosed a cardiac embolism (blood in the pericardial sac), and we had to have him euthanized. He initially wanted over €800 for the pointless surgery; later, we agreed on, I think, €300.
About a week ago, our kitten Luna got sick. I called a veterinarian who told me she didn't have time. Then I googled and found Dr. Pasterk. I called, and his wife answered. When I described the problem our kitten had, she immediately told me to bring her in, and when Dr. Pasterk returned from the monkey park, he would examine her. So, he called me that evening at 8:30 p.m. and said that the kitten had an intestinal obstruction and needed immediate surgery. I want to thank him again from the bottom of my heart for practicing his profession with such dedication, unlike most who only do it for the money. Even though he was at the monkey park when the case came in, he examined and operated on her. I thank Dr. Pasterk on behalf of our family. Our kitten Luna is playful and healthy again. Best, Melisa
Under no circumstances would I take a pet to this doctor!
