Since I was looking for a veterinarian who also offers house calls, I came across Felmo. I hadn't needed to use Felmo before, so I registered properly to schedule an appointment. After constant back and forth, I was told I had an outstanding bill, even though I'd never used Felmo. I didn't get an appointment, and Felmo is unable to clarify the alleged outstanding bill. On the contrary, they simply deleted my account instead of explaining the source of the supposed outstanding bill.

€300 for a blood test, an injection, a simple, quick examination, and the results delivered by phone. I could easily have paid €100 less at a specialist practice. Oh well. The only positive thing was that I didn't have to put my cat through the stress of going to a vet's office. And the vet was very nice, too.

Dr. Alhamd was very empathetic, friendly, and competent. He arrived a little early to calmly establish a rapport with our anxious cat. After the examination and blood draw, she even followed him around. Thanks to the quick appointment and the treatment/advice, our little darling was feeling better in no time. We would very much like to choose Dr. Alhamd as our regular veterinarian. However, we were also very surprised by the amount of the bill! Examination, injection, blood draw, and deworming medication came to 350 euros! The blood draw alone is twice as expensive as at our usual veterinary clinic. Even if the billing is based on a prescription, there's still a range in rates, similar to the difference between private and public health insurance. Unfortunately, the cost will deter us from further appointments with Felmo.
