If I could, I wouldn't even give one star. I was there a few months ago and my cat had fluid in her lungs. The vet (Munir) gave us heart medication and a diuretic injection. When we went back to him today because my cat was really sick, he said, "That's very bad. Isn't he taking his diuretic medication?" My mother and I then said he hadn't given us any, but he insisted he had. Then he looked and said he must have forgotten or something. After that, he gave my cat injections for drainage and told us to come back in an hour. When I returned, he was vomiting foam and couldn't breathe. He was screaming and his breathing was labored; he could barely get any air. Munir said he wouldn't survive. We paid €100 and then drove to the Haan clinic. My cat screamed and whimpered in pain the whole way. In Haan, they said that if the vet had acted sooner, he would still be with us today. I paid several hundred euros for the clinic, and in the end, he died. Please don't go to this vet if it's a real emergency. 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Rest in peace, my dear cat Bamsi

I went to this vet a couple of years ago. My cat had urinary retention, so a urinary catheter was inserted. My cat was then returned to me, and the symptoms worsened. My cat could no longer walk properly and stopped eating and drinking. I tried to feed him orally with a syringe. I went back to this vet, who gave him a painkiller injection and a vitamin injection. Basically, my cat had been sick. The end result was that my cat died at home at just 11 years old. And for that, he received 560 euros because my cat was now dead. I asked him if he had x-rayed the cat and taken a blood sample. Then I was told, in exactly these words: They hadn't mentioned any of this: 1. You don't have to ask if a blood sample can be taken when you take your pet to the vet, and 2. he didn't have an X-ray machine; he should have informed and advised me about this, but he did nothing. In the few times I took my cat to the vet, a total of three cats died. I know this because a man came to the practice with his deceased cat, and a young animal was euthanized. In my opinion, THIS VETERINARY SHOULD BE sued. I also had another test done with my female cat. I went to this vet and gave him a stool sample from my cat. He said she had parasites in her intestines. Then I went directly to another veterinary practice with the same stool sample, which I had in a separate container, and had the test repeated there, and lo and behold, she had no parasites. This vet should have his license revoked.

I took my dog to Dr. Akefee's some time ago and I completely disagree with the many negative reviews here. My dog suddenly started acting differently: she seemed unwell and refused to climb stairs. I couldn't pinpoint the problem at all. To my surprise, my dog wasn't scared at all; she was allowed to settle in, explore everything, and was treated with great care. This hadn't been the case before. Although the practice didn't have the necessary equipment for a precise diagnosis, Dr. Akefee suspected a closed uterine infection. He clearly stated that, just to be safe, we should go to a veterinary clinic with ultrasound the next day to confirm it. So, the next day I went to another vet in Ronsdorf. My dog was terrified there, and the vet was initially very skeptical, saying it probably wasn't that diagnosis. However, after the ultrasound, it turned out that Dr. Akefee had been absolutely right, and even the other vet was astonished. Although the practice didn't have the necessary equipment for a precise diagnosis, Dr. Akefee suspected a closed uterine infection. I was told there that my dog would probably only have had about two days left if it hadn't been discovered. The vet immediately called Dr. Akefee, and my dog underwent emergency surgery by Dr. Akefee that same day. I'm also especially grateful for how sensitively everything was handled. I was allowed to stay with my dog until she fell asleep, and later return to her as she slowly woke up, so she wouldn't be upset. I can also add that their prices are absolutely reasonable. Compare them to other practices. And the staff are anything but rude or unfriendly; we were always warmly welcomed. Therefore, I can only give 5 stars. To this day, I am incredibly grateful that Dr. Akefee saved my dog's life. ❤️ Best regards
