Super friendly and competent. I'm so glad I followed my son's advice and switched veterinary practices with my Mia!
I took my little dog Ira to the veterinary practice in Sipbachzell. Daniela, the assistant, is a wonderfully friendly and helpful person. She's very understanding, and you can always get an appointment as quickly as possible. The treatments are excellent, and the vet has always made the correct diagnoses, which have already saved my dogs' lives. I'm truly grateful for that. However, and this is the major drawback, the vet has absolutely no empathy for people. My dog was at the practice from Thursday to Monday. She had pancreatitis. I was at my wit's end because I know what that can mean. I called first thing Friday morning to check on my dog. That evening, I couldn't rest easy and called the vet's emergency number. She made it quite rude to me why I was calling again so soon, saying I had "only called this morning." I asked the dentist if she could brush my little one's teeth when she was feeling better, as she gets tartar so quickly that otherwise I'd have to bring her back for tartar removal after she recovered. She immediately misunderstood and literally said, "Your little one is fighting for her life, and I should put her under anesthesia." "But I didn't say that!" I told her. I explained again that if she felt better, I should just brush her teeth with a toothbrush. I would have even paid for it. "I don't do things like that," was her reply, delivered in a tone that was quite unpleasant. By Saturday, I didn't even dare call again. I didn't receive any message all day, which really upset me. In the evening, I sent a few messages via WhatsApp and at least got a short reply saying that I might be able to pick up my little one on Sunday if everything went well. Then Sunday arrived. I was already awake at 7 a.m. because I hadn't been able to sleep the last few nights and I was nervous. At 8 a.m. I checked my phone, but nothing was there. Then, unfortunately, I fell back asleep due to the sleep deprivation I'd experienced the last few nights worrying about my little one. At 8:40 a.m., I received a message that I could pick up Ira between 9 and 9:30 a.m. I woke up at 9:50 a.m., read the reply, and immediately called the vet. Her response was, "Tough luck. My day is booked with the children, and I'm rarely at the clinic." I told her about my sleep deprivation, but her response was, "I don't care, it's not my responsibility. You can pick her up tomorrow (Monday) after 9 a.m." Then it occurred to me that it wouldn't have worked out anyway, since the clinic is a 25- to 30-minute drive away. I have to get dressed and everything ready for the car ride for my little one. Afterward, I called a friend and told her what had happened. She lives near the vet's office. She then called the vet and asked if she could pick up the dog and bring it to me, as she was out and about and that it wouldn't be a problem for her. The vet told her that it was also Sunday and that she shouldn't interfere. That was the end of it. My little one had to spend the whole day alone in her crate. I received no information about how she was doing, nothing at all. So, another anxious day for me. On Monday, I picked up my little one. And I swore to myself that I would never go to that practice again. Diagnostically excellent, but the staff's behavior was utterly unacceptable.
A highly competent team! Our dog is lovingly cared for and the advice was excellent. Highly recommended!
The best vet ever. A fantastic team on site! Definitely recommend her...
Heidi was recommended to me as a veterinarian, and I'm so grateful I switched to her. You can immediately tell how competent she is, and above all, you feel taken seriously and in good hands. She takes her time, works very meticulously, and appointments are incredibly easy to get. Her assistant is also incredibly warm and friendly. Overall, there's a really pleasant atmosphere in the practice – you go there with a good feeling. I especially appreciate how lovingly and calmly she handles the animal patients.
