Reviews
There are people who are so special, they stay in your memory for the rest of your life. Our rabbit has been dead for four years. We're sitting with our family, talking about people we know who work incredibly hard, are masters of their craft, and are passionate about their work. We started talking about Sascha Weinlein. He cared for our old rabbit for the last few years, even though other vets had recommended euthanasia. He operated on her, and despite her advanced age, she had many more healthy, happy years afterward. His working hours aren't normal; he works 24/7. Despite this, he was always happy to see the animals and is consistently professional and friendly. He listens and doesn't just wait for his turn to speak. He explains why he does certain things and also explains why he deliberately doesn't do certain things, even when no one has asked. He gives you the feeling that he respects both the animals and their owners. Such behavior, combined with his work ethic, is very inspiring, across all disciplines. Don't hesitate to travel a long distance to find this veterinarian; your pet will thank you.
Our cat Max is saved! Thank goodness! Since October, we'd noticed that our cat was eating very little and reluctantly, and wasn't drinking at all. When we looked in his mouth, we were shocked: some of his teeth were already black, and his gums were red. Since then, we'd been searching for a vet who could perform dental surgery for FORL (Feline Odontoclastic Resorptive Lesions). Our vet in Markkleeberg on Koburger Straße couldn't do it; she just looked in his mouth and charged us. The small animal clinic in Leipzig only offered us a dental surgery appointment for February 20, 2026 (while Max could barely eat). Luckily, I got a recommendation from acquaintances and immediately called the Weinlein veterinary practice. We got a surgery appointment very quickly. FORL was diagnosed, and the dental surgery was performed on December 2, 2025. Nine teeth were removed, and all the others were cleaned and polished. Max was able to eat again immediately after the surgery. A few days later, we also got medication from Sascha Weinlein for Max's loss of appetite. Max is finally eating well and with gusto again! :-) His life is saved. The whole family is happy. Thank you!!! I highly recommend them! Dear staff at Weinlein Veterinary Practice, we wish you a wonderful holiday season and a Merry Christmas!
All the staff at the practice were professional and compassionate during my cat Frida's final months. I always felt I received expert advice, and the animal's well-being was always the top priority during all examinations. Because a home visit was arranged (even on a Saturday) when the time came for Frida to pass away, she was able to spend her last moments at home without the stress of travel. I am grateful for the entire care and highly recommend the Allen practice.
A truly awful, unfriendly, and unhelpful veterinary practice! I repeatedly requested a home visit and blood test. The only response I received was a rude "I should come in person!" They didn't answer my phone call, and when I left a message on their answering machine, there was no reaction at all! Apparently, they routinely buy and delete negative reviews. Now my pet is dead! I wish you the same fate you inflicted on my pet!
Thank you so much for the loving, empathetic, and highly professional treatment. Our 17-year-old cat, Zeze, had to have seven teeth extracted due to FORL, but thanks to your meticulous care, he came through the surgery very well and is now making a stable recovery. My special thanks go to Dr. Reckers, Mr. Weinlein, and Ms. Viegas. I also extend my sincere thanks to the entire team for the prompt assistance and the short-notice appointments in our emergency. You truly feel like you're in excellent hands here – highly recommended!
