Our deepest gratitude goes to the entire team at the MKK Leipzig clinic, who saved our little Jack Russell Terrier Lucy's life with their professionalism and empathy! Suspected of acute pancreatitis, Lucy, in increasingly poor health, had to be admitted to the MKK clinic. Following a recommendation and referral from our veterinarian, this was arranged smoothly after just one phone call. Unfortunately, the extensive diagnostic workup revealed a completely infected uterus, necessitating an emergency ovarian hysterectomy. During the pre-operative examination, two small, suspicious nodules were also discovered on her mammary glands, and these were surgically removed at the same time. Throughout her week-long stay, we were kept fully informed and involved in the decision-making process. Furthermore, during the post-operative discharge consultation, we received comprehensive information, and the clinic handled the ordering of a special diet for Lucy without any fuss. We cannot express our gratitude enough and wholeheartedly recommend the MKK clinic! Family Maiwald & Lucy :-)

This was our first time at the MKK (Main-Kinzig-Kreis). Our dog, Nala, was seen without an appointment. A very nice veterinarian performed the examination and the subsequent blood draw. Everything was explained clearly, leaving no questions unanswered. Another colleague analyzed the results, and that was excellent as well. All in all, a highly competent team. Luckily, there was a tip jar.

My Romanian mixed-breed dog, Molio, was treated, operated on, and received aftercare at the MKK Leipzig hospital for an acute herniated disc with hind leg paralysis – and looking back, I can only say: it couldn't have gone better. From the initial contact to his recovery, everything was of the highest professional and personal standard. The attending veterinarian took an exceptional amount of time to thoroughly explain the course of the illness, the necessity of the surgery, and all the risks and benefits. It was particularly helpful that everything was explained in a way that was completely understandable and transparent, even for someone without medical training. This gave me a great deal of reassurance during a very stressful time. The surgery itself went smoothly and with an excellent outcome. The entire recovery process was optimal, and my dog ​​recovered very well thanks to the professional medical care. The aftercare was also exemplary, organized, and closely monitored. Another major advantage is the constant availability of the veterinarians by phone. A contact person was always available for questions, concerns, or uncertainties. All feedback was friendly, patient, and competent – ​​I never felt like I was asking "too much." I would especially like to emphasize the open and empathetic nature of the entire team. It's clear that their focus is not only on professional expertise, but also on genuine concern for the animal's well-being and the owners' worries. I am incredibly grateful for this outstanding care and would recommend MKK Leipzig without reservation.

I was here with my cat. I felt incredibly well cared for. No unnecessary or expensive procedures were recommended. Even though my cat was insured, I felt that the focus was on the cat's well-being, not on making money. Dr. Reith is a fantastic veterinarian. A thousand thanks again to her. She was with my cat until the very end. She even called the operating room and discussed the procedure with me. This allowed me to make a decision that was incredibly difficult for me, but ultimately for the cat's well-being. I can wholeheartedly recommend the MKK (Märkische Kliniken). It was my first visit to a veterinary clinic, but based on what I've heard about other places... coming here was the best decision I could have made. I hope the MKK continues to do what it's doing, even as it grows and expands in the future. The atmosphere there is positive and will hopefully be rewarded by the patients. I would give it 10 stars if I could.

Dear MKK Team, we would like to thank you for your amazing work. Our Sydney had surgery with you two weeks ago, and you gave her a new lease on life. She's only two years old and has suffered from respiratory distress her entire life. We never truly understood how serious it was until our initial consultation.
