She is highly skilled, meticulous, and incredibly empathetic in her interactions with animals. I especially appreciate that she takes the time to get to know each animal and gives them the opportunity to build trust. This is particularly important with my livestock guardian dogs, as they are often very distrustful of strangers and not always thrilled about being examined or treated. It is all the more impressive, then, how well my usually very skeptical dog accepts Dr. Ambrosi and allows herself to be treated by her. The house calls are also a huge advantage for us. One of my dogs absolutely hates car rides and is so big that getting him in the car would be a challenge every time. Being able to treat the animals in their familiar surroundings takes an incredible amount of stress out of the situation. And with my other animals – even my chicken at the moment – ​​her extensive experience and willingness to adapt to each individual animal are evident. She's completely at ease, knows exactly what she can competently treat herself, and also knows when it's appropriate and necessary to refer to a specialized veterinary clinic or a qualified veterinarian. I truly appreciate this combination of competence and responsibility. Today she treated and drained an abscess on my chicken's foot – calmly, expertly, and with great care. Once again, I was simply amazed at how naturally and professionally she handled even a rather unusual patient. For me, Dr. Ambrosi is an absolute recommendation, both professionally and personally. You can tell that she's not just focused on "getting through" a treatment, but that she truly cares about each animal as an individual.
