She is by far the best vet. I celebrated New Year's Eve with her at the stable, with my horse suffering from severe colic. So, to start the new year, Ms. Schell had to dodge my horse's murderous attacks. She was already so fed up with vets. Ms. Schell remained calm and firm, examining her as thoroughly as possible. Unfortunately, my mare didn't make it. She later had surgery, and they discovered that her entire small intestine was blocked. There was nothing more they could do. 😢

I first met Ms. Schell when she was working at the Leichlingen equine clinic. She was incredibly kind and wonderful, and she helped my horse so much. We are so impressed with her work. She dedicates an incredible amount of time to the horses and handles them with such loving care and patience. My Tinker mare has been struggling with severe allergies for about 7-8 years. Unfortunately, all the vets we had before her couldn't really help my horse, but Ms. Shell found the cause, which we can now treat, and this is the first year in many years that my mare has been doing so well at this time of year! Dr. Shell is a first-rate internist with a heart of gold. She makes precise diagnoses on-site using modern diagnostic procedures, saving horses and their owners many trips to the clinic. She has successfully treated our horses on several occasions (diagnostics including endoscopy and ultrasound) and saved their lives after another veterinarian made a misdiagnosis or failed to provide urgently needed medical treatment.
