Pferdeklinik Nindorf

We drive 380 km to have our horse treated by Dr. Tobias Niebuhr. He previously treated our horse, who suffers from lung, stomach, and heart problems, at the Hanover Veterinary Clinic. Without him, our now 21-year-old Haflinger stallion probably wouldn't be alive today, because veterinarians in Hesse are overwhelmed by his symptoms. Dr. Niebuhr is an incredibly empathetic and highly competent veterinarian. Always friendly, helpful, and truly pro-horse. He's also very supportive on the phone and dedicated to our horse's well-being, even remotely. This was our first time at the clinic in Nindorf. All the other staff members were also very kind and welcomed our horse warmly, providing excellent inpatient care. The examination was flawless, and once again, we were grateful to have come here. I highly recommend this clinic to everyone. Below are before and after pictures for comparison, taken two months later after the treatment/diagnosis. A thousand thanks again for everything! Our horse is doing so much better! He hasn't been this good in years.

I'd give zero stars if I could. The simplest initial treatment steps weren't taken, and now, with a second opinion (from a different vet), my horse's life is hanging in the balance because the clinic treated him incorrectly and didn't do enough to find the cause, other than want money.

My 24-year-old gelding was hospitalized for colic: He received excellent care, and every effort was made to avoid surgery, despite my consent and the knowledge that he was insured for it. I was always kept informed, and my horse was very well cared for and exercised by the clinic staff. I felt we were in very good hands there, and the horse's best interests were always at heart. My horse's life was saved after an accident in which he broke his jaw, injured his temporomandibular joint, and suffered severe bleeding from his head, thanks to the intensive and expert treatment by the veterinarians and the entire team. For weeks, he needed round-the-clock wet food, which was brilliantly organized. I am incredibly grateful to the whole team! After three months, my gelding is now happily back with his herd.
