Reviews
Dr. Sundermann comes highly recommended. He is especially interesting for gaited horse riders because he seems able to distinguish between gait irregularities and lameness. He was able to identify a four-beat canter and a gaited gait, and he himself used to ride gaited horses. All my questions were answered thoroughly and patiently. I felt comfortable asking more. The price is reasonable – he conducted and documented a very thorough and conscientious pre-purchase exam. I also received excellent advice by phone before and after the examination. I am completely satisfied.
I've had a horse since 1994. I've met many equine veterinarians. First, I had a Haflinger. Then a Trakehner (22 years old), and she had a foal (bought still in her mother's womb). She turned 12 this year. Dr. Sundermann came to see her for colic and other issues. No matter what it was, he was excellent. Whether it was dental work or a severe colic, he was meticulous and very sensitive to each animal. Always friendly and clear in his explanations. Unfortunately, I had to have my little one euthanized at the veterinary clinic last Friday. A week earlier, I had to call another vet, who was very arrogant and convinced of her own fault. He diagnosed her with circulatory colic without taking any medical history or considering other possible diagnoses. Dr. Sundermann had to come that night. Unfortunately, it was almost too late by then. I took her to the clinic on Saturday. She had two surgeries, and then her small intestine stopped functioning. There's no one better than Dr. Sundermann. Thank you so much for your long-term care. Please keep your heart in it. God protect you! S. Ittemann
For me, he's the best veterinarian and especially the best equine dentist. I now drive 1.5 hours for a group dental appointment, but Mr. Sundermann's treatment is worth it. My horses always feel comfortable.
Excellent veterinarian, appointments are no problem, he's always punctual. Examination, treatment, and explanations are very good, and he always has a friendly chat or interesting information to share. He's been caring for my horse for two years now, and I'm very satisfied.
Dr. Sundermann has been THE veterinarian we trust for many years. He was always available for our late mare "❤️Grandma(31)❤️" and always made the correct diagnosis. Today, he is the vet we trust for our beloved gelding Lightning ⚡️❤️. Thank you for the wonderful care. THANK YOU SO MUCH ❤️
