I contacted Ms. Stechmann on the advice of my veterinarian because we wanted to have our cat euthanized at home. Ms. Stechmann came that same evening. She was so kind, empathetic, and gentle with us and our other pets. She explained exactly what would happen. Contacting Ms. Stechmann was the best decision we could have made. We last saw Dr. Stechmann five years ago to have our old dog put down. Recently, our nearly 13-year-old Airedale Terrier, Sammy, had to be euthanized. Once again, she was a truly lovely and empathetic veterinarian. He received the anesthetic injection and was allowed to choose his spot in the garden, where he calmed down and was gently put to sleep in his favorite place. She took her time; she's a truly wonderful vet. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
