Reviews

I can only echo the previous positive reviews. They are always available for emergencies and often outside of regular opening hours when it's serious. We hope that our 12.5-year-old senior dog, Juna (a French Bulldog), will stay with us for a while longer and that we won't have to come as often as we have recently, but we would like to sincerely thank the entire practice team.
About six years ago, we first consulted Mr. Pilarski about our French Bulldog, Bob. At that time, Bob could only sleep in an elevated position with his head raised. Since Mr. Pilarski specializes in brachycephalic breeds and enjoys an excellent reputation, we knew we were in the best hands from the very beginning. Mr. Pilarski always provided us with comprehensive, transparent, and understandable information – about diagnoses, surgical procedures, aftercare, and potential risks. His honesty was always unwavering, yet empathetic and respectful. Among other things, we had him operate on Bob's elongated soft palate, neuter him, and remove a foxtail. Later, Bob was diagnosed with a very malignant tumor, which unfortunately offered no hope of recovery. Bob was the first dog I had to have euthanized. Mr. Pilarski explained each step to us carefully and gently. He allowed us to say goodbye to Bob for as long as we needed. The euthanasia was calm and peaceful – Bob fell asleep within just ten seconds. Even if saving him had theoretically been possible, he wouldn't have survived the anesthesia due to his condition. We would also like to especially emphasize Ms. Pilarski's great empathy. In those difficult moments, she was comforting, understanding, and took the time for us—something we will never forget. We always received lab reports promptly by email, were informed immediately by phone after surgeries, and the pre-operative explanations were always thorough and easy to understand. At every stage, we felt taken seriously and seen—both as dog owners and as individuals. I would choose Mr. Pilarski as my veterinarian again without hesitation and entrust my furry friend to him once more. For us, his practice represents professional competence, special expertise with short-nosed breeds, honesty, empathy, and genuine compassion. Thank you so much for EVERYTHING!
I would like to sincerely thank you for the professional and compassionate care you provided to our pet. The veterinarian demonstrated extensive knowledge, patience, and care, and all examinations and recommendations were thoroughly explained. From the very first visit, we felt our pet was in the best hands. We greatly appreciate the friendly approach to both the animals and their owners. I wholeheartedly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for a competent and dedicated veterinarian.
An absolutely top-notch veterinarian and a fantastic practice overall. Our English Bulldog had surgery there on March 10th (soft palate and tonsils). The interaction with the animal and the concerned owners was very pleasant. Everything went smoothly without any complications, and our dog has so much more quality of life. No more choking, no more snoring. The payment process was also very accommodating. In short: For flat-faced dogs and their breed-specific problems, Dr. Pilarski's practice is absolutely the best place to go.
