5 stars for the Kutzner team in Karow! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ After moving to Karow a year ago, we found this practice on the recommendation of other dog owners – and what can we say? It was the best decision. Last week, our Charlie had a dental cleaning, which went absolutely smoothly. Since he was already under anesthesia, his anal glands were also expressed. Unfortunately, this developed into a severe inflammation (anal gland abscess) over the weekend. From swelling on Sunday to a "colorful golf ball" and fever on Tuesday morning, he experienced it all. Why we appreciate this practice so much: • Quick help: Despite our busy schedules, we were able to get an immediate check-up on Tuesday. • Empathetic care: When the abscess burst just before our appointment, the team took wonderful and immediate care of Charlie. They flushed the wound, gave him pain medication, fever reducers, and electrolytes – the whole nine yards. ``` • The "Charlie Check": As soon as we left the clinic, he was back to his old self and even had his appetite back. • Personal Aftercare: Mr. Kutzner personally handled the follow-up appointment today. With lots of patience and a few treats, he treated the wound. It's amazing how quickly something routine can turn into something serious, but we felt safe and well cared for at all times. For us, it's now a "bottom check" every two months – as long as the clinic's supply of treats lasts, Charlie will definitely cooperate! 🐾 Many thanks to the entire team for the wonderful care!
