We're on holiday here with our 12-year-old dog, Chicco. For about six days now, his metabolism hasn't been working properly. Today, it got so bad at midday that we decided we needed a vet while out for a walk in Tönning. Ms. Brendel was the closest vet and had good reviews, so we went there. We rang her doorbell at what is usually considered a quiet lunchtime. She listened to us very kindly and empathetically, and after a very short preparation time, we were allowed to come in for the examination. Ms. Brendel took a lot of time for the initial consultation and examined Chicco thoroughly. We also appreciated being allowed to be present the whole time. We had a very thorough discussion about possible causes for his problem, and it really dawned on us for the first time that our little guy is a senior who needs to be treated as such. The things we were told to buy afterward have arrived, and we'll do many things better from now on, but unfortunately, there's one thing we can't do as well: give a massage as sensitively and relaxingly as Ms. Brendel. Chicco is lying totally relaxed next to my foot and sends his regards: Everything is much better now... Thank you so much!
Extensive experience and outstanding dedication to my dog! I'm so glad I found Ms. Brendel, because it was only thanks to her help that I was able to spare my dog from taking harsh chemical medications. She is not only very warm and welcoming, but she also took a lot of time for my pet and me to get a complete picture and find the root cause. I highly recommend visiting her practice!
Dr. Brendel is a very dedicated veterinarian who takes a comprehensive and holistic approach. She dedicated a great deal of time to examining and treating our dog holistically, just as we had requested. We consulted her because of gastrointestinal issues, recurring ear infections, and our dog's anxiety around people. She provided us with extensive nutritional advice (without trying to sell us anything) and then treated our dog osteopathically/craniosacrally. She took ample time for everything and answered all our questions. We feel well cared for and see a feasible path forward with dietary changes and homeopathic treatment. Throughout the entire process, she remained calm and considerate, which helped our dog relax. Thank you so much for the excellent treatment and advice. After just a few days, we can already see how much better our dog feels.
Hi, this is a really lovely vet who takes her time and gives excellent advice. We're so happy that our Peter Rabbit has found such a wonderful vet here :-). The practice is very welcoming; the atmosphere is warm and friendly. Even the practice itself doesn't smell like a typical vet's office, but rather has a wonderfully fresh scent. The relationship between the vet and Dr. Fellinger, the patient and owner, is truly wonderful and friendly. Peter Rabbit will definitely go there whenever he needs anything, even just a check-up. He's usually quite wild, but with our vet here, he's the picture of calm because she gives him so much peace and quiet, and that's wonderful. Here, the animal's well-being is truly the priority. Best regards, Melly & Harry from Tönning
I can't really judge the vet because we were turned away (as an emergency case) with our dog. Without even seeing our dog, we were recommended some homeopathic remedies. In my opinion, that's rather irresponsible. Our dog was really very ill. Anyone who has a pet can surely understand how disappointed you are when you're turned away due to lack of time. Any patient who might have had an appointment at that time would certainly have understood if they had been able to attend to another animal.
