Tierarztpraxis Bogenhausen Isabelle Heiss

This is a great practice with several vets. I have the impression that they are up to date with the latest technology and innovation. They think of small things which make a huge difference e.g. They even have buzzers so we can wait outside which is much less stressful for owners and pets. This is the only vet where I have seen buzzers. The long opening hours during the week and also on weekends are a great advantage for working pet owners. I was a client for 5 years with 2 dogs. I was always happy with the treatment and service from all staff. The only operation I needed was a teeth cleaning and the vet kindly let me be there when the dog woke from anaesthetic. They didn’t offer vaccicheck when I was there but I find most vets in Germany don’t offer this. Unfortunately I have moved city so I can’t go to this practice anymore but I do miss them a lot. I wrote them an email of appreciation when I moved city.

Such a positive first visit! The staff was very friendly and gave lots of attention and support to our senior fox terrier. I also really appreciated their willingness to communicate in English and the thoughtful waiting system: you can take a buzzer and wait outside or walk your dog instead of staying in the waiting room. It made a huge difference for our anxious doggo :).

We feel super lucky to have found this vet!! Moving to Bogenhausen a year ago from abroad, we were hoping to find a great and compassionate vet for our senior pup who has gone through all sorts of health issues since we’ve adopted her 12 years ago. They are incredibly kind, patient, calm and loving. Appointments are easy to make online. Everyone speaks English, which is honestly a massive plus for us as we can communicate our concerns better. The prices are super fair considering that we paid 2-3x of the costs in the US for the same type of appointments. We’ve had multiple visits within the year: nail clippings, local anaesthetic surgery, drainages… Very thankful and appreciative of everyone who works there!!

We went to the clinic 5 times in total so far with both of our pets (the dog and the cat). During that time we had one emergency visit on Sunday (when usually all the other Tieraztpraxis are closed), had our cat sterilised there, and also did teeth cleaning & extraction for the dog. And I can only give best reviews for each time we went there and for all doctors and assistants work. We went to 4 different pet clinics in Munich before that and we were highly unsatisfied with our visits, results, and prices. Very happy we finally found this place :) And more nice perks: they also speak English, if that's easier, and they also have the online booking platform for appointments. All in all: 10/10!
