Very competent and loving treatment for my puppy, who had an eye infection. The ointment worked after a few days. Our puppy and we are happy again.
Nothing against vet Ms. Prechtl. She's great and I can only recommend her!! But I find her employee vet colleague to be pretty incompetent. If Ms. Prechtl isn't on site when you get there and your animal means something to you, leave immediately. I took my cat there because he had lost a lot of weight and was in bad shape. I have no idea what happened to him. Anyway... She examined him, determined that he had small kidneys and was dehydrated, but would never have thought of putting bottles on the cat, just medication and one injection after another. 3 days later our cat was dead. I've rarely seen someone as incompetent as she is. So if Dr. Prechtl isn't on site, take your animal and get somewhere else as quickly as you can.
The mere fact that she wants to order dry food for an animal with kidney disease makes me want to back out the door and stay there. Absolutely unacceptable for someone with professional expertise! With her, you're more likely to end up with animals that are "over-vaccinated, over-medicated, and malnourished." Definitely not the root cause of the problems. In a time when we know the causes, this approach is sadly outdated.
Even when there are many patients in the waiting room, you'll never feel like you're standing in line at a supermarket checkout. The empathy shown for various problems and illnesses is an invaluable balm for both animal and owner. There's always an atmosphere that heals, comforts, and inspires trust. Blacky and especially Silvester, who wouldn't be alive without your help, say "Thank you."
Unfortunately, I wasn't very impressed after my visit. 1. It seems they only offer a relatively limited range of treatments. 2. There are far too few staff and treatment rooms for the extreme influx of customers. 3. I have serious doubts about their professional knowledge and competence. Internet research and several consultations with other specialists would have been more appropriate. 4. The treatment room should have been more than adequate for good results. 5. Reliability and agreements were not honored, presumably due to being completely overwhelmed by the surge in workload. 6. There is simply no parking available. 7. WAITING TIMES!!!! These can range from 30 minutes to 3 hours... I've often considered attaching my dog's leash to the window handle and leaving a note with all the necessary information... 8. The price was also high for the actual treatment provided. 9. After treatment, there was no appropriate aftercare to protect and rehabilitate the animal, as is standard practice at some other veterinary clinics. 10. The follow-up consultation, which was supposed to provide information about the consequences and how to optimize the recovery process, was completely omitted. Conclusion: It was a pointless, mostly very disappointing, and expensive day spent in the waiting room. The only takeaway is that I, at least, am not the right clientele for this practice.
