Our dog Molly developed a persistent parasite in her nose at the beginning of 2026. Her symptoms worsened: severe purulent nasal discharge, increasing breathing difficulties, and later, problems with her eyes as well. We were referred to the Blömer veterinary practice in Neuenkirchen – and it was absolutely the right decision for Molly and us. To get to the bottom of the cause, they left no stone unturned. This included a rhinoscopy, a CT scan to rule out a foreign body, ultrasound, nasal irrigations, blood tests, and biopsies followed by bacteriological laboratory examinations. Molly received optimal medication throughout the entire process. We were particularly impressed by the scientific collaboration with the University of Leipzig – they were incredibly dedicated to helping Molly in the best possible way. After about six months of intensive treatment, her nose is completely healed. Her eyes haven't fully recovered yet, but we're making excellent progress there as well. We had excellent communication with the practice throughout this entire period. The veterinarian and the entire team were always friendly, competent, dedicated, and available to answer our questions. We always felt that Molly was in the best hands and that everything was being done for her. Therefore, we wholeheartedly give them 5 stars and can wholeheartedly recommend this veterinary practice. There was one small drawback at the end: the last eye ointment was significantly more expensive than what you'd find on the open market. We found that a bit disappointing. However, this doesn't change our overall very positive experience with the practice. Many thanks to the entire team for their tireless efforts and the loving care they gave our Molly!
