A very competent veterinarian who has helped us many times. Plus, an incredibly nice assistant. I feel my cats are in very good hands and can highly recommend this practice!

Left standing there with xylitol poisoning and turned away... even though it wasn't opening time, I would have wished for more compassion for the animal.

In my opinion, this veterinarian may be competent, but he's also driven by profit. If something doesn't suit him, he takes it out on the customers. We got our dog from a factory farm, so she wasn't healthy. When I went to this vet, he said, "You just don't do that, you see what you get for it!" I simply wanted help for my furry friend. Our Labrador was bitten by a tick in October 2025, which caused his death. By the time he showed symptoms, it was too late. Blood was drawn, and it ran like water. The vet immediately knew that euthanasia was the only option. This was on a Tuesday. Despite this, our Lab was given medication that "might help" at a considerable price. Nothing improved, and on Thursday we inquired about the lab results. These confirmed that he had to be euthanized. But instead of our Lab being put down that day, no – he even offered to drive us to the veterinary clinic in Dresden and try again there, saying he had a 20% chance. Of course, we wanted to spare our Lab this suffering and asked Dr. Hennig if we could have him put down, to which he replied that Friday after 4 pm... not that he offered to put him down immediately, because he knew his condition and that he could also suffocate. After this experience, I absolutely cannot recommend this vet; I will never take any animal to these premises again.
