Tierarztpraxis Dr. Marcus Risse & Dr. Johannes Risse

We forgot to bring a gel called Isaderm for our dog and we phoned there to ask whether they could sell us one. The receptionist responded that they don’t have the gel and if they nonetheless do have we need to ask our veterinary to forward them an attestation 🙈🙈😂. We phoned an another veterinary in the region and the receptionist was very responsive and professional and we could pick up product without any complication!

We took our poodle Benito to the emergency vet, Marcus Risse, on Sunday with an anal gland abscess. He briefly checked the abscess and said it wasn't ripe yet. That was okay. Then he injected a white liquid under the fur on Benito's neck with a thick needle. Little Benito screamed like I've never heard before. It was unbearable for Benito and for me. Benito has had injections many times before, and it was never a problem, only with this vet. A small dog was being treated before us, and it was similar. Benito's "treatment" lasted less than 10 minutes. I had to pay €190, which I find unreasonable. The patient with the small dog before ours also had to pay €190. His treatment also lasted about 10 minutes. After this painful experience, I cannot recommend this vet. Günter Kaiser

This is the best veterinarian in the area, and you're in really good hands! The vets are very competent and friendly, and they take their time with you. The practice is very nice and modern. My experiences here have always been very positive, and my dog ​​has always received the help he needs!

We took our dog Mika to the veterinary practice for treatment on May 1st, 2026. The vet explained everything very well and treated our dog calmly and professionally. We live in Versmold, and there were no other veterinary practices open in the Versmold area. We highly recommend this practice to everyone.

Dr. Johannes Risse is the best veterinarian and I highly recommend him, because he saved the life of my 12-year-old Shih Tzu, Toni. I am incredibly grateful to him and his team. Every time we went to the practice with our biggest worries and fears—and we could because he always took the time—Dr. Risse helped us and gave us courage.
