The examination was excellent. The veterinarian was also very nice. However, she charges quite a bit for it – on average, 1.5 to 2 times the standard rate. The visit to the animal hospital was considerably cheaper in comparison. So, if you can, you should perhaps consider visiting the animal hospital in Bielefeld instead.

We can hardly believe what a fantastic practice we've found here. My husband and I take numerous pets to her and have never been disappointed. Not only are emergencies taken very seriously, and appointments are even available on short notice on Fridays, but the entire management and staff make us feel truly at ease as soon as we arrive. It's never been crowded or even overcrowded: even when a wait is announced, it's usually over much faster than expected. None of our animals have ever been stressed here, neither while waiting nor during treatments. Not even our little rat was afraid; she even cuddled with the vet and the assistant. Everyone, including us as "parents," clearly feels comfortable here. The option to wait in the car with skittish animals, thanks to a pager that rings promptly, is simply a blessing and incredibly thoughtful! Unfortunately, we have also had to have our pets euthanized. One of them wasn't at the practice, but they were informed: The practice staff sent us both a handwritten card, full of sympathy – I still get tears in my eyes. So much humanity, so much heart. That's not something to take for granted! I've also often noticed that Dr. Habrock really ALWAYS tries to do everything she can. She even called us back when I was very emotional and questioned a treatment retrospectively (I wasn't familiar with the process yet, but the vet was very knowledgeable about rabbits and explained everything wonderfully!). Everything is simply superb. Experienced with rabbits, small animals are in excellent hands, always personalized, compassionate, competent, and always with explanations. We feel incredibly well cared for at the practice: Wednesday morning, our dog's face was suddenly very swollen on one side. We called and were able to get an appointment for a check-up that same day. The dental surgery was scheduled for the very next day, as it was followed by a long weekend. After the weekend, we went back for a check-up on Monday, and everything is healing very well. It's worth mentioning that our dog is now a senior at 12 years old. The care and monitoring after the surgery were also excellent! A truly very empathetic and warm team!!! Fantastic team, fantastic veterinarians! I would especially like to commend Dr. Habrock. In a way, we were "lucky in a way," as we unfortunately had to visit this practice due to an emergency. Looking back, it's a good thing Dr. Habrock was on call that day. She really took her time, all our questions were answered, and we felt we were in excellent hands, both personally and professionally. Despite the emergency involving our 10-week-old puppy, we left the practice (late in the evening!) with a very good feeling. A definite top recommendation, and many thanks again to the team!
