Tierarztpraxis Dr. med. vet. Uwe Urban

Our Labrador, Boomer, injured his canine tooth and a molar on a rock while on vacation at Lake Garda. We had to leave for Germany at short notice. We initially went to the emergency vet in Rosenheim, where we were thankfully referred to Dr. Urban's practice. We were seen quickly and received very friendly and competent advice. The canine tooth has been saved for now; the molar may need to be extracted later, but it was treated provisionally. Everyone at the practice was very friendly. On our way back to Germany from vacation, we called several clinics and explained the situation. The root canal of the canine tooth was open, and most of them immediately suggested extraction. It was so reassuring to find a dental expert at Dr. Urban's practice. We would have been devastated if our Boomer, at two and three-quarters years old, had lost a canine tooth. Thank you so much!

I've been going to this practice for over 17 years now – first just with our male cat, then with both cats, and now just with our female cat. The whole team is truly wonderful. The practice is easy to reach, and if you can't get through right away, they reliably call you back. And if it's really necessary, they always manage to squeeze you in between appointments. The way they treat my cats has always been patient and considerate. They also always take care not to stress the animals unnecessarily. This includes considering whether a major treatment is really necessary right away, or whether it's better to wait and see, or if there are other options. Animal welfare is truly their top priority. Dr. Urban and his veterinarians are always approachable and you can talk to them openly. Billing is based on the German Veterinary Fee Schedule (GOT) and is transparent. Every single item is listed on the invoice. ...and you can even pay by debit card. Dr. Urban and his veterinarians are always ready to listen, and you can have an open conversation with them. This practice is highly recommended.

Very friendly staff. A fantastic, very calm and competent veterinarian. I was kept fully informed about every step of the treatment. He saved my cat from needing eye surgery. I can only say one thing: you have to look far and wide to find someone like this. Top-notch!

I visited Dr. Urban about a year and a half ago – my Rottweiler needed a molar extracted. The treatment and consultation were very competent and empathetic. We felt very comfortable there. We recently visited the practice in Amerang again due to acute mastitis. We got an appointment very quickly – veterinarian Ms. Illi took wonderful care of us and was able to help us promptly. She was even able to perform an ultrasound of the uterus without sedation. Today we went for a follow-up appointment with veterinarian Ms. Pfohl, and it was a pleasant experience there as well. My dog ​​doesn't need a muzzle at this veterinary practice; they work with trust and take their time, which wasn't the case elsewhere. A fantastic practice, top-notch equipment, competent and very friendly staff. Ms. Urban was also very friendly at reception. Looking forward to seeing you again at the dog park, Uwe :-)
