Tierarztpraxis Dr. Sven Hoffmann

I recently moved and needed a vet right away. I chose Dr. Hoffmann based on online reviews and can only confirm that he has a wonderful approach to animals. He took a lot of time and explained things thoroughly. Here, I feel that both animal and human play an important role. One day after our visit, another problem arose, and here, too, he took a lot of time and effort to diagnose and explain things remotely. I will stay here with my furry friends and am happy to have made the right choice. Michaela

We're glad we chose Dr. Hoffmann and his team back then. Not only does he always have a sympathetic ear for his owners, but his interactions with the animals are exemplary. He explains his diagnoses clearly. Appointments are made promptly, and there's hardly any waiting time. Our dogs enjoy coming to the practice.

The practice itself seems well-organized and presumably competent in treating dogs and cats. However, I would recommend that owners of fancy rats seek treatment at a practice specializing in small mammals. Unfortunately, several things happened during my visit that left me very disappointed. My rat was dropped from the examination table during the examination, which was extremely distressing for me. Furthermore, I had the impression that the staff's knowledge of keeping and typical diseases of fancy rats was not up-to-date. For example, I was told that the sneezing I had observed and shown on video several times was not a typical symptom of a respiratory illness, even though it is quite common in rats with upper respiratory infections. Instead of targeted diagnostic or therapeutic measures, I received rather general advice on husbandry, such as on enrichment and toys, which were not helpful in my specific situation, although I'm sure the advice was well-intentioned. ...] ] ```` ``````````````````````````````````````````` Overall, I didn't feel that my rat's treatment was sufficiently professional, and I now feel somewhat helpless, which is why I will be visiting another veterinarian next week. The consultation cost €40, without any discernible medical assistance being provided. For these reasons, I would not recommend this practice for the treatment of fancy rats.

Excellent veterinary practice. Very courteous and friendly. I was delighted that when I called outside of opening hours, I received a very prompt call back. They are absolutely focused on the animals' well-being, which I find very commendable. You are kept informed immediately, and even, as in the sadly recent case, you receive a follow-up. Great team.
