On Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 6:45 a.m., our beloved old cat suddenly suffered neurological seizures and collapsed on the floor at home. We were devastated. Friends recommended we go to Dr. Budde's veterinary practice as an emergency. We wouldn't have been able to reach any other animal hospital with our convulsing cat. The vet took us in immediately to examine him. With heavy hearts, we decided to have Floh euthanized. Despite the tense situation, the vet and her staff remained empathetic, kind, and supportive. They provided excellent care and support to us and Floh, even though we were never there. The loss still hurts, but we are grateful for the help we received. Even though we had hoped for a different outcome, some doubts and questions remain about whether we made the right decision, but that's always the case for pet owners after the death of a beloved companion.
