Sina is a highly competent and friendly equine dentist who does excellent work. Even more complex procedures, such as multiple tooth extractions in one appointment, are no problem for her. She administers sedation very precisely and adapts perfectly to each horse. Everything is explained and described clearly. Overall, outstanding work – top-notch both professionally and personally! I can highly recommend Sina!! Sina came to us for the first time this year. My horse has had EORTH (Equine Orthodontic Treatment for Tooth Decay) for two years, but there was no reason to have his teeth extracted. This year, unfortunately, it finally came to that. My horse had lost a lot of weight, his body had shrunk, his muscles had disappeared, and he could barely eat his hay. On Sina's recommendation, we had to have all his incisors removed. You could clearly see how loose all the teeth were, and in some places, pus was already coming out. Of course, that's not good news, and you worry about whether the horse will be able to eat normally afterward or whether you'll be able to ride him without restrictions. For me, it was simply clear: I didn't want my horse to suffer and wanted to spare him the pain. The teeth were removed on two separate occasions, a week apart. And I have to say, even after just having the upper teeth out, he was noticeably better, and I was already grateful for that. He was able to eat hay again right away 😍. And the next day, he could even eat pellets again. But when he had the lower teeth removed, things improved dramatically!!! Just a few days later, you could already see his body becoming rounder again, his muscles rebuilding even though he wasn't being worked, his coat becoming shinier, and from that point on, he had so much more zest for life! Sina was truly amazed at how well his wound was healing during the check-up and was delighted to see how much better he was already feeling! From now on, I can ride him again, bitless for the first two weeks. And even now with a bit, my horse is like a different horse! 😍 I can ride him normally again, even athletically.
