I can only praise the practice, the veterinarian, and the staff. Big hearts, friendliness, and professionalism are their top priorities. You're not forgotten even after the bill is paid... that's never happened to me in 37 years. Many thanks to the FOUR PAWS team!

Report on Lilly's Illness, Treatment, and Dietary Advice Background Lilly, a white short-haired guinea pig born on April 1, 2024, was already eating less than usual on Tuesday evening, June 3, 2025. Unfortunately, she had eaten rabbit food and barley flakes beforehand. On Wednesday, June 4, 2025, she ate very little, and on Thursday, June 5, 2025, almost nothing at all. As her condition continued to worsen, I was able to take her to the Four Paws veterinary clinic as an emergency case on Friday, June 6, 2025, at around 10:00 a.m. ... The examination revealed significant weight loss: Weight on May 28, 2025: 1171 g Weight on June 6, 2025: 1130 g Weight loss: 41 g _________________________________ Treatment and Care Veterinarian Dr. Gora gave Lilly a tonic injection to strengthen her and support her circulatory system. RodiCare instant (a supplementary food with healthy herbs, 170 g) was recommended, which Lilly was to receive directly into her mouth with a syringe until she was eating independently again. In addition, Lilly was to receive 0.1 ml of Sab Simplex (69.19 mg/ml) twice daily to relieve bloating and a feeling of fullness – also via syringe. (Every six hours for the first two days.) Further measures: Gentle abdominal massage: Massage the gastrointestinal area in a circular motion for approximately 20 minutes, when Lilly is relaxed and pain-free. Fresh food: Fresh grass, dandelions, and lettuce. Infrared light lamp: Day and night, with hiding places. Drinking: Water bowl in addition to the water bottle; chamomile tea in the bottle. On Friday evening, June 6, 2025, Lilly began eating independently again for the first time – initially fresh grass, while she lay on my lap and I gently massaged her. ___________________________________ Further progress Until Saturday midday, June 7, 2025, there was still no bowel movement. Therefore, I began giving Lilly a lukewarm bath, which she entered together with her friend Blacky, to provide comfort and security. The warm water and gentle abdominal massage helped Lilly resume her bowel movements, and she recovered steadily. __________________________________ We owe a great deal to God and to our veterinarian, Ms. Gora. She is one of the best around and treats my guinea pigs with great care and expertise. On December 10, 2025, I took all four guinea pigs to her, and she trimmed their nails. I was allowed to hold the guinea pigs myself, and everything went very smoothly and professionally. There was no bleeding, even though the guinea pigs and I were quite nervous beforehand. Now we are all happy again. We wish the veterinarian and her team all the best and, above all, good health so that she can continue to care for all the animals with such love and expertise. ___________________________________ Note on the healthy diet of guinea pigs If you want your guinea pigs to have a very healthy diet, you should not use mixed grains. A more suitable option is... B.: Versele-Laga Complete All-In-One Nutrition Cavia Hay and herb mixtures If possible, avoid feeding tomatoes, carrots, bananas, or apples, and generally avoid anything containing sugar. Warning signs of diabetes in guinea pigs: Excessive thirst Drinking a lot of water Frequent urination Excessive wetness around the rear end due to urine If these symptoms occur, the diet should be changed immediately to prevent serious health problems.

We searched for a long time for a veterinarian with a truly big heart, because our dog Flash constantly had stomach and intestinal problems. With Dr. [Name], we finally found exactly what we had always hoped for. She took an incredible amount of time for us and for Flash, treated him with great empathy, and immediately established trust. Thanks to her thorough examination, we finally know what was really wrong with him. We received the right medication, the appropriate food, and many valuable tips. Today, our Flash is happy and active again, and everything is finally back in balance. We are incredibly grateful to Dr. [Name] – we couldn't have wished for a better, more caring, and more competent veterinarian! 🍀🍀🍀

A wonderfully caring and competent veterinary practice. They took the time our deaf cat needed to treat her properly. My cat can be difficult, but they demonstrated excellent understanding of animals and answered all my questions. I'm so happy to have found such a vet and can highly recommend her and her colleagues!
