I've been a regular customer at this practice for many years now. These days, I'm a frequent visitor with my dog, Balou. A super friendly team, highly competent veterinarians... What more could you ask for? We always enjoy coming here. We know we'll receive excellent care! Balou and his owner send their heartfelt thanks for the wonderful treatment(s)! I simply have to expand my review... This year we've been to the practice more often, and I can only reiterate my initial review. We go every four weeks for nail trimming (Balou is a bit particular about that), but unfortunately, we've also had to go there for more serious issues. Balou is a familiar face there and always receives a warm welcome. We also occasionally just drop by for a quick visit. I highly recommend it... It helps alleviate the dog's anxiety... simply going to the vet without worrying about anything happening... that way, the visit isn't always a negative experience. ... Balou and I would like to thank you again for the professional, friendly, and kind manner and the treatment. I don't often write extended reviews, but my Balou is the most important thing to me, and I'm so glad to see him receiving such excellent medical care!

Unfortunately, I am not at all satisfied with the new owner/management. I explicitly stated on the phone that I wanted to see Ms. Bruns/Thiencken. Upon arriving at the practice (after a one-hour drive), a different veterinarian treated us. After I asked about the other two, I was told that they were no longer there. I was simply presented with a fait accompli.

The team at the veterinary practice saved my Heinz's life. We were on vacation here when Heinz suddenly became very ill. We were able to come in immediately, and he was examined right away without any waiting. The examinations were very thorough, and this procedure saved Heinz's life. The surgery was prepared immediately, and they acted without hesitation. A complex operation followed, and the young vet and his assistant mastered the surgery despite complications. Heinz was able to go home with us, and we went there daily for follow-up care over the next few days. I consider the medical knowledge of both the vet and his colleague to be above average, and their knowledge of medications was truly impressive. We, Heinz's parents, come from the medical field and felt understood and taken seriously at all times. Thank you for everything; you are not only top-notch medical professionals but also incredibly kind and compassionate people. ❤️

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Koch and the entire team at the veterinary practice. Our Nelson had been treated at various practices for over a year without a lasting solution being found. Thanks to the excellent care, expertise, and great dedication of Dr. Koch and his team, his long ordeal finally seems to have come to a happy end. We always felt well cared for. The entire team is friendly, empathetic, and takes their time for both the animal and its owner. Thank you so much for everything you did for our Nelson! Warmest regards, Bernie's Waldhaus Dog Hotel with Nelson 🐾❤️

I had an appointment with my dog today and was completely dissatisfied. There were three people in the examination room—I have no idea which one was the vet. The woman was incredibly unfriendly and doubted my statements regarding my dog's problems. After my request for a blood test was finally granted, none of the three people had any idea what tests to specify for the lab. (I mentioned this several times both beforehand on the phone and in person.) Furthermore, my dog didn't receive a general examination, but I'm supposed to be billed for one. I couldn't find out who the actual vet was, either on the website or anywhere else. One person asked questions, one drew blood, and another just wanted to express my dog's anal glands because apparently that would solve the problem. If you specialize in large animals, you should stick to that, because I didn't get the slightest feeling that anyone could or wanted to help me!
