Reviews
I hesitated for a long time about whether to review this, but I still have nightmares about that visit. On March 24th of this year, my Havanese, Timmi, had a stroke in the evening. He was 14 years and 4 months old, so we quickly found an animal hospital that was on duty. The little guy was given an injection to euthanize him, or so I thought. In my opinion, it was an injection that paralyzed him, and I didn't realize it at first. The vet asked if I wanted to stay, and of course, I said yes. Then he jammed a syringe directly into Timmi's heart, and the little guy screamed in pain. It was awful, and I'll never forget that scream. All I could think was, what have I done? I just wanted him to fall asleep peacefully, and he had to die so horribly. Please be careful who you go there with; you'll never get something like that out of your head.
We've been taking our dog Shiva there ever since she was spayed at one year old. Now she's four and a half, and I have to say the work was very clean and the aftercare was excellent. We usually see Dr. Hecht, and he's always very competent and friendly. I can't complain about his colleagues either. We had another vet once, and it was the same story. We're always very happy when we get quick help, which is always the case there.
The vet was nice; he did everything he could to keep our guinea pig alive, but it died a day later. :-((((
Very friendly, competent, and empathetic. Thanks also from our Mr. Karl 🐈⬛
