Reviews
When everyone had practically given up on our Shetland pony, we were fortunate enough to be recommended to Dr. Eisenack. At that point, our pony had already been hospitalized twice for weeks at a time at the veterinary college due to colic and severe intestinal damage. Thanks to her very thorough and comprehensive advice, which was easy for laypeople to understand, and which also covered the necessary nutritional supplements and the entire treatment plan (including consultations with our regular veterinarians and the veterinary college in Hanover, which was also involved in the treatment), her condition stabilized, and we are now hopeful that our little pony will survive. We highly recommend Dr. Eisenack because she is very dedicated, flexible in her use of new technologies, and possesses exceptional expertise in the field of animal feed and supplements!
Dr. Eisenack is a very empathetic veterinarian who thinks outside the box and doesn't just blindly follow the textbook. She questions everything concerning the animal, puts a lot of thought into it, and thus arrives at therapeutic approaches that have previously been overlooked. Even days after treatment, she always checks in to see how the "patient" is doing. She truly loves her job! Both horses and their owners are grateful for her keen eye, her expert advice, and her boundless enthusiasm and willingness to help. Many thanks to Dr. Eisenack for always being there for us and our four-legged friends!
After several devastating prognoses for my foal regarding its misalignment, I was recommended to see Dr. Eisenack. They said they would only send a letter or if Anja was at a loss. Together we developed a coherent and, above all, manageable treatment plan for my foal. I particularly liked the holistic approach. Feeding, exercise, and treatment then formed a complete whole. A horse isn't just made up of legs; fortunately, it also has a whole body attached. From the very first second, I sensed that Dr. Eisenack knew what she was doing and could explain it well. Of course, I was also fully informed about all the advantages and disadvantages. So I finally knew where I stood and what I could work on, but also where the limits were. Three months later, our foal is well on its way to healthy legs. I am incredibly glad I listened to the recommendation, even though I initially wondered why I needed a fifth opinion.
After 30 years of keeping horses in my own free-range stable, I thought I knew a lot about the individually optimal feeding and that I could help a horse with tension through animal physiotherapy. However, thanks to Dr. Eisenack, who explained the biochemical and metabolic basis for changing a horse's diet, I realized I had been a victim of the feed industry. And I also witnessed the incredible and surprising improvement that shockwave and laser treatment brought to two horses. For that, I have to say thank you!
Over the past few weeks, my horses and I have had very positive experiences with Dr. Eisenack: In addition to Dr. Holger Wurthmann, Dr. Anja Eisenack was able to contribute her expertise in both diagnosis and treatment: Thermography was used to visualize and confirm diagnoses. Shockwave and laser therapy had a positive effect on the healing of multiple rib fractures in an old Shetland pony. Sarcoids on a Paint gelding partially regressed under laser treatment. After a thorough consultation with Dr. Eisenack, both horses received feed tailored to their specific needs. Dr. Eisenack is personally distinguished by her approachable manner – towards both people and animals. She also explains complex issues very clearly. Overall, outstanding care! Many thanks.
