I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the entire team, and especially to Dr. Egger. I was referred to you by our veterinarian and surgeon, Dr. Sauer, because my dog was experiencing muscle atrophy in his shoulder and persistent lameness, raising suspicions of a nerve sheath tumor. According to Dr. Sauer, in addition to your expertise, you also guarantee the highest quality CT imaging. I gladly accept the approximately 1.5-hour drive each way, as all the positive things I had heard about you beforehand have been confirmed, including, unfortunately, the preliminary suspicion of a tumor. However, this was communicated to me in such an understanding and kind manner, unlike anything I have experienced in human medicine. No one wants to hear such news, but it is not easy to deliver it with such competence and respect. Dr. Dr. Egger took a lot of time for us, went through all the CT scans with me, and did his best to explain everything in a way that even a layperson could understand. He also took the time to answer all my questions, which I really appreciate! I was informed about the costs beforehand, and the bill was even lower than initially expected. The excellent collaboration between Dr. Egger and Dr. Sauer is a real benefit; they work together so well that any questions that might have remained unanswered are perfectly covered! Even though we may still have a difficult journey ahead regarding the course of the illness, and a cure is uncertain or even unlikely, it was important for me to write this review immediately. Despite the difficult circumstances, we simply felt well cared for. In that spirit, a huge thank you again for your expert help, but above all, praise for your warm and caring way of dealing with my dog and me. You have my utmost respect for that! A huge thank you to the entire team at the ACC Small Animal Center Rosental! It starts at reception – you feel truly welcome! Here's our story: Shila is a small mixed-breed dog, now almost 16 years old. Our problem was her teeth, which were causing her a lot of pain. They were treated with great care, including a perfect cardiological pre-operative examination, and the aftercare was loving and meticulous, taking into account that she is, after all, an older dog. Dr. Nicola Katzschmann performed the surgery and took the time to explain everything before and after. We also had our follow-up appointment with Dr. Katzschmann today – again, very thorough and attentive. You can tell that these are people who not only treat animals but also love them! It was in just such a hopeless situation that we found ourselves at the ACC Small Animal Center in Rosental 1.5 years ago. Today, we can say with certainty: that our Nala, now 2.5 years old, leads a happy and fulfilling life is no accident, but the result of an extraordinary combination of medical brilliance and profound compassion. What Karin Egger and Georg Egger did for us goes far beyond normal veterinary care. They weren't satisfied with the status quo, but researched extensively in international specialist literature and veterinary medicine until they found the life-saving surgical method and the perfect treatment plan for Nala. Ultimately, thanks to ACC's research and referrals, the only surgeon and the right method were found. Behind us lies an emotional rollercoaster that pushed us to our limits: 1.5 years filled with anxiety, hope, and a total of 18 anesthetics. Throughout every phase of this difficult journey, the entire ACC team was there for us. They not only provided expert care but also repeatedly lifted our spirits in moments of despair, motivated us, and restored our belief in a positive outcome. This psychological support for us owners was just as valuable as the medical treatment for Nala. Our "Drama & Panic Queen," Coco, is also the best proof of this clinic's exceptional approach. Despite her intense fears, the team manages time and again to create an atmosphere where treatment is possible, thanks to their endless patience and calm. Animals have a keen sense for sincerity. They know exactly who has their best interests at heart. At the ACC, this love for animals is palpable. Here, you're not just a number; every animal's story is followed with the same devotion as if it were their own. We can hardly express our gratitude in words. The ACC team is not just a veterinary clinic for us, but a lifesaver and a safe haven.
