As a breeder, I particularly appreciate it when professional competence, composure, patience, and a genuine understanding of both horse and owner come together. That's exactly what I experience at this clinic. I would like to extend special praise to Ms. Wimmer. She works with great competence, calm demeanor, and palpable dedication, and it's clear that the horses are truly close to her heart. The veterinary assistants also leave a very positive impression on me. Their care is attentive, patient, warm, and reliable – and that's invaluable, especially in the intensive care unit. I especially appreciate that this is still a privately run clinic. In a time when more and more clinics are being taken over by larger corporations, this is rare and very valuable. Of course, large groups certainly have advantages in purchasing, administration, and certain processes. At the same time, however, what often gets lost is precisely what makes a crucial difference for horse owners: personal commitment, responsibility, continuity, and the individual character of a clinic. The market has been consolidating for years. Succession issues, a shortage of skilled workers, and the declining willingness of young veterinarians to become self-employed certainly play a role. That's why it's so remarkable to me when a clinic not only maintains this personal, dedicated, and humane character but also tangibly embodies it in everyday practice. Where larger structures often inevitably become more standardized and business-oriented, here you don't feel like just a number, but truly seen and valued along with your horses. I am very grateful for the care I've received so far and for the tremendous dedication I've experienced here. The horses and their owners are well looked after; every step is discussed. All the staff are very friendly and helpful.

I had Dr. Stechele on call one Friday evening and have been a client of the Auwald Clinic ever since. Dr. Stechele is very competent and totally relaxed, and that's contagious for both horse and owner. Today my horse was at the clinic for an examination. Communication with the entire clinic was excellent at all times, and we felt very well cared for throughout! The examination was straightforward, and afterwards, we quickly received a very detailed treatment plan and the imaging results by email. I am truly completely satisfied. I would recommend this clinic without hesitation! Many thanks to Dr. Stechele and the whole team for the wonderful care!
