A very nice veterinarian who takes her time and treats the animals with love. I took my 15-year-old dog here for an abscess check-up. The only downside: there are several steps up to the practice. Difficult for older dogs; I had to carry my 24kg dog. A ramp would be helpful.

Fantastic vet! She has a very warm and caring way with both animals and people. Our dog always happily runs into the practice and often doesn't even notice treatments like injections because she's so skillful. She has always helped and advised us well and always takes the necessary time. Her prices are also excellent!

Today was my first visit to Dr. Essig's practice. I was very satisfied; the consultation was highly competent and the atmosphere was friendly. I would definitely recommend Dr. Essig.

We were on vacation and urgently needed to take our dog to this veterinarian because she was clearly very ill and in a lot of pain. Our impression was that our concerns were completely ignored. Although we know our dog well and could clearly see that she was suffering, we were told she wasn't in pain – without a thorough examination. The tone of the staff was particularly disappointing. We weren't taken seriously and were ultimately even asked to leave the practice, which was completely inappropriate in this already emotionally stressful situation. Furthermore, despite our request not to pick her up, our dog was simply lifted, which triggered a clear defensive reaction from her. We felt neither professionally competent nor treated with respect. Especially in such sensitive moments, one expects more empathy and respectful treatment of both animal and owner.
