Reviews
We've been taking our cats and rabbits to veterinarian Möhring for many years and always receive expert advice and care. Appointments are usually available within a week, and the waiting times during walk-in hours are reasonable (less than an hour). You can also call ahead to check how busy the vet is.
For 25 years, Dr. Möhring cared for our horses (3 coldbloods, 1 small horse). From the day they were born to the last day of their lives, they were in the very best hands with him. We thank him for his incredibly dedicated, very personal, humane, and professionally competent, all-round care. We stopped keeping them after the last horse passed away. It was very difficult for us to say goodbye to Dr. Möhring and his team. Thank you so much for caring for our horses through good times and bad!
I can only recommend that anyone who owns a livestock guardian dog find a competent veterinarian who knows how to handle them. He might be okay with Golden Retrievers, but he definitely lacks the competence and confidence for large dogs. When we politely asked not to be yelled at because two of us were trying to restrain the dog and wanted to keep it calm, he took off his gloves and left. He definitely seems to have no experience with such dogs; his statement that "these dogs are obedient, they have to do what their owner wants" certainly confirmed that. I would have expected a veterinarian to exude calm and not start berating the owner, because we really were trying with two of us to keep the dog calm.
We've been taking our dogs to this practice for 25 years. The team is lovely, and Dr. Möhring is very competent. After ingesting poisoned bait, our dachshund lived another 7 healthy years with us thanks to the quick treatment â ââwithin an hour. We've also been taking our new dog here for 5 years now and feel very well cared for. Thank you!
