For me, it was an outrageous vet not to treat my dog or squeeze her in somehow, even though she had a fever and discharge shortly after her heat cycle. We drove to the practice that morning, only to be told that fever was normal, that humans get them too, and that pyometra was too early, as it usually only appears 6-8 weeks after a heat cycle. All that time wasted. My dog had to be taken to the animal hospital for surgery. If they had checked her there, it might have been two days earlier, as there was still visible discharge. At the hospital, her uterus was already full, and there was no visible discharge. For a treating vet to act like that is simply outrageous! I will never go to this practice again! I would give it zero stars if I could, but then I couldn't post. I also know of other cases where incorrect diagnoses and treatments took place!
At first glance, the practice makes a modern impression. The appointment booking app is a good idea in principle, and the reception staff is very friendly, helpful, and professional. Unfortunately, I had a much worse experience with the veterinarian himself. He came across as arrogant and not very open to other viewpoints. Furthermore, I often had the impression that medication was prescribed very quickly instead of first considering whether a more conservative treatment would be appropriate. Less is sometimes more – especially in veterinary medicine. The costs also seem questionable to me in some cases. For example, fecal samples were charged for several times, which gave me the impression that financial interests play a larger role than the animal's well-being. Additionally, while the app is advertised, it doesn't seem to be very well maintained or kept up to date. Medication prescriptions are issued, but no reminders are sent. What the vet says on the day of treatment isn't recorded. A shame. It's a shame because with the friendly reception team and the modern concept, the practice actually has a lot of potential.
This was our first time here with our injured cat. She wasn't very cooperative, but thanks to the treatment, she's feeling much better. Also noteworthy: they only did what was necessary and didn't, for example, sell us unnecessary X-rays (we've definitely experienced that at other practices). And we'll definitely be back, as the doctor and assistant were very friendly and excellent.
Fantastic veterinary practice! I've taken my two cats there a few times, and no matter who cared for them, it was always excellent. Even though they're both quite anxious, the vets and the team always took the time to try and alleviate their fears and make the experience as comfortable as possible, which isn't easy with such extremely fearful cats. The staff is also incredibly friendly and helpful; no matter what questions you have or concerns you may have, they always explain everything. A truly wonderful practice!
A fantastic small animal practice. We took our guinea pig there. It was a bit far from where we live, but it was worth it. The vet was incredibly friendly, highly competent, and extremely helpful. She left no stone unturned in helping us. Elsewhere, we would have just seen a guinea pig. Thank you so much! Despite the distance, we'll definitely be back.
