A fantastic practice... I know our small animal menagerie is in the best hands ā¤ļøāš©¹. All our dogs, cats, and until recently, our chickens and goats, were well cared for and treated with compassion. Whether it was a minor ailment, eye surgery, or even the final farewell. Thank you for your amazing help and so many rescues that often gave our furry friends a little more time. š We truly appreciate it!!! The Saathoff Gang š
Very suitable for larger animals like dogs/cats and reasonably priced. We recently took our hamster there for a change and asked several times beforehand if they were suitable for such small animals, which they confirmed. Unfortunately, they couldn't give us any clear answers, and afterwards the hamster fell off the table. Now we're going to another vet to see if he suffered any injuries.
My boyfriend and I are very satisfied with the practice. The veterinarians and all the staff are consistently friendly and approachable. We had received test results from the Oldenburg Animal Health Center (TGZ Oldenburg), which were only explained very superficially there. In contrast, Dr. Cramer took plenty of time and discussed the findings with us again in detail and in a way we could easily understand. Since we were dissatisfied with the Oldenburg Animal Health Center, we will be switching to the Sottrum or Posthausen clinic with our dog Frieda in January. For the interim period until then, Dr. Cramer prescribed a new medication. He communicated to us openly and honestly that the medication might only help, but that we could try it until our appointment at the Sottrum or Posthausen clinic. We really appreciate this transparency. You feel taken seriously and well cared for at the practice. We also found it particularly thoughtful that my boyfriend received a personal condolence card from the practice after the loss of his dog Oskar last year. Interestingly, my senior dog Kira also had some experience with the practice, having been treated there as a puppy. This shows that the practice has been around for at least 18 years ā which speaks volumes. We can wholeheartedly recommend the Cramer practice! Thank you!
Unfortunately, Mr. Cramer was completely unempathetic. He was on call today, and my friend had to have her dog euthanized. He showed absolutely no compassion. Instead, he told her that euthanasia is more expensive during emergency hours. She called the pet undertaker, who was going to come to the clinic and pick up her dog. While he was holding the syringe, he tried to send her out of the examination room to make the call. He even told her to take her dog with her, otherwise he'd stay in the mortuary for two days! After her dog passed away, she tried to dress him, and he said, "It wouldn't be worth it. What would you even do? It's polyester, it just ends up in the trash!" How can a doctor make such a statement? It's inexplicable and inexcusable. She's been going to this clinic for years and has always been satisfied, but to be so unempathetic on such a difficult day is truly inexcusable. We will all be looking for a different clinic for our pets. Treating grieving owners in this way and devaluing the family member is inhumane and therefore not advisable.
A truly wonderful practice šš½ Everything was perfect from start to finish. They take the time to answer questions. You can feel the compassion of the entire team. šš½ May you all be happy and contentā¦
