On the evening of the 26th, my cat suddenly had problems with his left hind leg. It was already after 6 p.m., and almost all the veterinary clinics were closed. We went to the only clinic still open, but were informed that the vet had already finished for the day. Therefore, we had to go to the emergency clinic in Bielefeld. Since we didn't have a car (yes, we don't have driver's licenses yet), I was outside wondering whether I should ask a friend for help. At that moment, a veterinarian returned to the clinic to help us despite it being the end of the day. She examined my cat, took an X-ray, gave him an injection and medication, and told us to come back the next morning if he hadn't been able to urinate during the night. When I returned the next day with my cat, who hadn't been able to urinate all night, I was crying the whole time and was terrified that he might never recover. Fortunately, another veterinarian helped to manually catheterize him, and she was very patient and kind, not bothered by the smell of urine. She also recommended that we have an MRI scan done in Bielefeld to determine the exact cause. She could have simply given us medication or suggested a less complicated diagnosis, but she didn't. I would like to sincerely thank all the staff, especially the two veterinarians (I'm sorry I don't know their names). This practice in Bünde is, in my opinion, the most highly recommended veterinary clinic in the region. That 300 animals could be treated here is a great stroke of luck for me—and for him, too. I will definitely recommend the Kerstin Labann veterinary practice.

Veterinarian Janice Casey is simply AMAZING. Very empathetic, very understanding, and extremely competent. She explains the implications of the diagnosis very carefully. I will never go to another vet again.
