We took our old dog to her for emergency care last year. She took a lot of time during the examination and provided us with plenty of information, medication, and tips. If I still lived in Zerbst, she would be my first port of call. Thank you.
I brought my older dog here for an appointment. He had eczema on his back. The examination was very thorough; every single step was explained, and the upcoming treatments and medications were discussed in detail. After a week, my dog is doing well again, and the eczema has disappeared. I am very impressed with the excellent work of this veterinarian.
If it were possible, I would give zero stars. I had been taking my cat to her for a long time and always thought she was competent and kind, but I was completely wrong. She tortured him with injections and medications during the last days of his life, clearly trying to profit from my baby. The whole thing seemed strange to me because he was getting worse and worse. I then got a second opinion from another vet who explained that my cat had been suffering for ages because he was internally poisoned by kidney failure. And so, with a heavy heart, I had to say goodbye to my beloved pet. I can only advise everyone against entrusting their pet to this woman.
It's a shame you even have to give at least one star here... Our usual vet wasn't on call, so we had to call Dr. Prange very late at night, as our practice's answering machine had also mentioned the emergency service... Our cat hadn't been feeling well since late evening (we explained that his condition had worsened by evening, he was barely eating, and he was just weak and suffering). First, we received an unfriendly greeting. After we explained, we were told that it was the middle of the night and that we already knew it was an on-call service... The next question was whether we had money, because she wouldn't come out for free anyway, and we could have called during the day! It would cost at least 300 euros... If you don't enjoy your job, you shouldn't do it! This wasn't just unfriendly to us, but also clearly unacceptable behavior for a veterinarian. The entire phone call was extremely frustrating. Especially as a veterinarian, one should act in the best interests of the animal!
Despite personal stress, still very friendly and empathetic.
