Thank you so much for your help. He's the best vet there is, I can't recommend him highly enough. He helped my dog and me too. Unlike others who say if you can't pay €300 right away, then nothing can be done. Other vets could take a leaf out of his book and not always just say, "If you can't afford it, then you can go." ❤️👌🌻🦋🐕
Best vet ever! He even recommends medicinal herbs (maltberry, etc.) for our greyhound instead of pharmaceuticals/chemicals! He's more interested in our beloved pet's health than in his fee. He can apparently take x-rays with his hands :-). Simply superb, this older, very experienced vet!
Yesterday I went to Dr. Radek to have my cat euthanized; my little one had been a patient for years. He didn't know us, even though I told him I'd been to him last year for a urinary tract infection. "Yes, but you haven't come more often," was his unfriendly reply. He quoted a relatively high price, and I wanted to know if it was a weekend rate, even though his practice was officially open. I had called ahead. He demanded the full amount and asked if I had that much cash on me, since it was cash only. Or I could go somewhere else, where it's even more expensive. I've been going to him for many years, but I've never experienced him so arrogant and cold. The whole thing took less than 15 minutes, and there was no bill. It was hard enough having to let my little one go, but he just snapped at me, saying I should have come more often... I'm very disappointed; no love for animals, no humanity... he knows I'm not in a particularly good financial situation.
A complete disaster. I took my kittens there; they're 11 weeks old now. I went because one of them was incredibly itchy and had even scratched herself raw. I'd been to a different vet a week ago, and everything was fine. He examined her briefly, but the way he handled her was truly awful to watch. He shaved a spot on her chin with a device that had hair from a thousand other animals on it—simply unhygienic. He completely ignored the little creature I found in her fur and just dewormed them, even though they'd already been dewormed last week. He didn't even check their weight and just gave each one whatever was available. When I asked about the itching, he just said they'd been dewormed anyway and it might get better. So, I still have no idea what's wrong with her. Besides that, the place seems generally very unhygienic. There are just random medications lying around everywhere. I will definitely not go there again and will stay with my other one, even if the journey there is further, because my animals mean something to me and I want them to be well and treated nicely.
