Yes that means sometimes you have to wait a bit longer. But we know our cats are in good hands. One of our cat had an accident, her tail got badly hurt. Doreen took her time to examine her and find the right treatment. Mara is now healthy and can lift her tail again. Doreen is a vet we can recommend she takes her time and makes sure your pets are getting the best treatment.

She does what's necessary, thinks quickly and efficiently, especially in emergency situations where help is needed fast (both cats and dogs have required it). I'm satisfied with the treatments and the friendliness of the vet, however, she's significantly more expensive than the vets in the city. She clearly charges a premium for being the only vet for miles around in the countryside. It's a huge financial burden for me every time; I can barely afford to take my cat there. When I lived in Jena, I paid about 30% less for the same services. Unfortunately, her opening hours have also been drastically reduced.
