A year ago, he put my grandma's dog down. The dog was still struggling for an hour afterward, constantly trying to get up and survive. Well, we barely got over that, but unfortunately, we had to go to that vet, as ours was already closed. After briefly examining our dog, he said he had worms and gave him pills, without a description or anything. Well, we thought that would be the solution to our problem and were eagerly awaiting an improvement. We hadn't found any, so we went to the vet. Today we had to have our dog put down; he had bad blood work and a huge tumor in his stomach. Never, never again. I'd rather drive 100 kilometers to a doctor than come back here. Thanks for nothing.
In my opinion, the vet is too old to safely practice his profession. He completely cut off my budgie's back claw, even though we only wanted to trim it; he almost bled to death! Otherwise, he has good knowledge of animals, but he's too old for practical work.
Since our usual vet was already closed, we tried our luck with Dr. Wachter. Even though we had never been there before, he took plenty of time for the examination.
Not just unfriendly, but outrageous! "Everything costs €120 here" = 2 injections for diarrhea and taking his temperature. "I won't give you a bill." Only after clear insistence did I get a receipt. "Don't blame me if he dies." Any alternative to this so-called vet is better!
Since our dog (a Chihuahua weighing 2.9 kg) was lifting his left front paw after playtime, barely putting any weight on it, licking it excessively, and it was very sensitive to touch, we unfortunately had no choice but to go to Dr. Wachter (Saturday, 3:35 pm). Our regular vet was already off for the weekend. After barely examining or palpating the paw, Dr. Wachter suggested our little guy had probably pulled a muscle. He told us to just wait and see, and then gave him three injections without even asking his weight. He claimed they were anti-inflammatory and decongestant medications. Even after repeated inquiries, he wouldn't tell us the names of the medications or the injections, and at the end of the "treatment," he demanded 90 euros for it. We didn't even get a receipt. !!!Never again!!!
