Dr. Schwingshandl is by far the best vet I've ever encountered. I highly recommend seeing him, especially when it comes to orthopedic problems. The 1.5-hour drive is always worth it because I know my bully will get the help he needs. Not to mention the friendly staff. The animals are simply amazingly well-treated!! Huge thanks and huge respect for this work.
I received a call shortly before 7 pm regarding a small, sick hedgehog. The employee was very friendly, spoke briefly with the veterinarian, and informed me that I could come, BUT there would be a surcharge of €250.00 after 7 pm!!!! Very business-minded and absolutely inhumane... Unacceptable.
Dr. Schwingshandl's veterinary clinic is highly recommended. The animals are well treated, and you receive competent advice.
It's becoming increasingly difficult to find good veterinarians! Here you can find help around the clock in an emergency; the practice is open 6 days a week! Excellent diagnostics, surgeries, and consultations. They take their time with each patient.
My daughter was there with her cats and was treated like dirt by a redheaded woman simply because she asked for a payment slip since it wasn't possible to pay on the spot. Afterwards, she was afraid she wouldn't get her cats back or something... She was forced to sign something agreeing to bring the money in the next few days, by the 29th... So, I, the mother, paid it today as agreed with another woman who was very nice... Unfortunately, the redhead is working today and called my daughter, threatened her with a fraud report, and was very unfriendly... A message to the redheaded woman with tattoos: "If you have no heart and hate your job, then find something else and don't be condescending to people who are mentally unwell and whose pet is their everything... That's called humanity and compassion, which is what you should have... And not threats... We will not be going to this practice again; there are others who are nice, affordable, and competent."
