Reviews
Excellent veterinarian, highly recommended. He handles animals well, explains things clearly, and is compassionate when it's necessary to euthanize an animal.
Always friendly and kind to both animals and people, and that's important to me. A competent doctor. Thank you for your help and advice.
I took my dogs for vaccinations. Unfortunately, I can't vouch for their friendliness, professionalism, or good interactions with both humans and animals. He was only friendly when opening the door; in the practice, it was a completely different story. With the first dog, he pushed the syringe in so far that the needle got stuck in the skin. The vet told ME to pull the needle out of the dog because it was too dangerous for HIM (my dog was muzzled!!). When I had the needle in my hand, I saw to my horror that it was bent at almost a 90° angle. I suspect the needle went into a bone, probably a rib. My dog barked and was understandably upset, as he was probably feeling pain, not just a quick prick. With the second dog, he completely messed up and injected the vaccine into his fur and onto my pants... and he didn't even notice!! Only when I showed him, he annoyed, drew up another syringe and only got the medication injected with my help. Then the bombshell came when it came to the bill... At the beginning of the visit, he said €85 per dog. When he was billing, he said the vaccination costs had risen so much that he now had to charge a total of €220, or €110 per dog. I actually asked him when he last vaccinated a dog... to which he replied "Not for a long time." Well, that explained a lot! After this incident, I was completely unhappy with this surcharge. Moreover, it seemed to me as if he was indirectly trying to charge me for the botched vaccination. Very dissatisfied, he billed me €180 and told me I should never come to his practice again. When I replied that I certainly didn't intend to do that again, in his helplessness, he labeled my dogs (according to him, beasts!!) as life-threatening, and he gave me the ass!!! In my opinion, the guy was completely off track, unsure of what he was doing, and confused about his actions. In my opinion, this vet is long past his prime. Respect for older people—but one should know when it's time to stop and limit the damage for the good of everyone.
A top-notch vet. Where some vets fail (I won't name names), he saved my Labrador today. He takes his time and examines thoroughly before making a diagnosis. Thank you again. Excellent value for money. A truly kind person. I've found my trusted vet.
