I took my cat to the vet because she was very, very ill. Mr. Demmrich downplayed it, saying it was just a cold. When I asked if it could be poisoning, he simply said it didn't look like it. She wasn't eating, she was drinking constantly, she had bad breath, she was staggering, she slept all the time, she hadn't defecated, her blood pressure was low, and she was hypothermic. My gut feeling was right. I got a second opinion from another vet. Kidney failure, due to poisoning. I could have acted much sooner without Mr. Demmrich's incorrect diagnosis. That was the last time I'll go to him.
