I can't understand some of the negative reviews. We've been seeing him for two years for various illnesses/problems, and he's always been a great help; in some cases, the problems disappeared immediately after one treatment. When it came to illnesses that couldn't be cured, we received friendly, patient, professional, and honest advice, and the medication also worked immediately, so our pet's quality of life is still very good. All in all, we were completely satisfied with EVERY visit and felt we received very competent and experienced advice and treatment. We'd be happy to come back anytime, and we'd always come back if we had any problems!

I strongly advise against asking Dr. Granacher any critical questions about his diagnosis. He immediately became loud and aggressive. After my second attempt to ask my question, my wife and I were thrown out of the practice with a lot of shouting. When I asked if he intended to physically assault me, he replied, "Yes, I'd love to!!" He's extremely choleric and incapable of accepting criticism. And he charges exorbitant prices for this. I will never go there again, and I certainly won't recommend him.

We had a bad experience for the second time. This time, a tumor the size of a tennis ball was overlooked despite x-rays, and unnecessary injections were administered at exorbitant prices. Our cat was euthanized by a second veterinarian; it was too late to save her. When we called the next day to cancel the appointment, since our cat had died, he simply said, "Well, that settles it then." When we asked for a copy of the x-rays, he immediately became unfriendly and demanded to know who the second vet had treated. He then became very abusive and started shouting that it wasn't a tumor. This man possesses neither empathy nor kindness. Furthermore, he makes incorrect diagnoses and performs unnecessary treatments. First with our rabbit, and now again with our cat. Apparently, any animal smaller than a dog is beyond his competence, and acquaintances of ours have also experienced this with their cat.

I haven't been there myself, but my children say he's the best vet ever. He's simply wonderful with animals. Our dwarf rabbit, Bobby, goes to him regularly for his claws. Next time, I'll go myself to see for myself and confirm my children's statement.

Okay, you have the right to decide who you want to treat or not, but I find your behavior inappropriate and contemptuous of animals.
