Reviews
We've been taking all our pets to Anatol Kirsch for 20 years now! We couldn't imagine a better vet! Today we saw his substitute. Even though it was *just* a hamster, the lovely vet tech Sabrina and the assistant vet showed great empathy for our grief, as our little hamster (due to a tumor) had to be euthanized. Thank you, Anatol Kirsch, you're always there for us!!! I've been to several other practices, but I gladly make the trip to Weissenau/Wilhelmsdorf because I don't get ripped off and I know the vet is experienced! THANK YOU to all of you – you're simply unbeatable!
It's very good
On Wednesday, April 9th, 2025, we went to the vet with our Chihuahua. We were greeted well, which was fine. However, during the examination, because the little dog was having trouble breathing, the first thing I noticed was the lack of hygiene. No gloves, no washing or disinfecting of hands. The vet was very rough with the little dog and didn't even seem to care what was wrong with her. She was simply taken away for an X-ray without any explanation of what they were planning. Then, a substance was injected into her skin, and they said it was related to her heart. They took an X-ray, but not even an ultrasound, and said that her heart and stomach were too large. It's worth mentioning that she is a 16-year-old dog. The end result is we were at the veterinary clinic today, and they tested everything. In the end, it wasn't even her heart, but her lungs and liver. Simply a disastrous vet. Please never go there; I really wouldn't recommend it. The health department should investigate. It's absolutely unacceptable, and then there are the costs—the vet is simply overpriced. He should be banned from practicing medicine. She could have died. How irresponsible!
We've been taking our dog and our cat to Dr. Kirsch for about a year now. We've always been very satisfied with the treatment. Most recently, our dog had to undergo a very complicated surgery (anal sac excision; the anal sac had already been bitten through, and the intestine had to be reattached). At first, we thought it would never heal because the wound kept reopening. We went for checkups almost every two days and consulted with the team. Everyone was very competent and sympathetic. When we were beginning to think the wound would never heal, one of the veterinarians on the team took it upon herself to consult with another vet (which I thought was really great). So we went back, and they gave us an ointment and a spray to apply. What can I say? Now, almost three months later, everything has healed quite well. The only thing is that our dog is passing gas more than before. But otherwise, Dr. Kirsch and his team have done a fantastic job. The price was also perfectly reasonable. We had expected to pay more. Thank you very much for the excellent treatment.
We had been taking our 17-year-old cat, Backy, to the vet for a year. Sadly, nothing more could be done for him, and we had to say goodbye to our beloved cat. The euthanasia was carried out with great dignity and compassion. Thank you.
